Chartwells is excited to serve up healthy and happy to the students of Nettle Creek Schools. Our goal every day is to make sure that students leave the cafeteria happier and healthier than when they arrived.

As classrooms evolve, so must we. Chartwells K12 continues to bring technology to the forefront of the dining experience to help students and parents make informed choices. We understand you want to know about the food students eat–where it comes from, the ingredients, and how it’s prepared.

View your student’s daily menus on Nutrislice, Chartwells’ innovative software platform that provides easy, up-to-date and immediate access to Hagerstown Schools daily menus. You’ll have access to food descriptions, original photography, and nutrition and allergen information.

You can also download the free Nutrislice app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to find your daily menus.

Free and Reduced Meals and Textbooks Program

We encourage all families, regardless of income, to complete and submit this short, confidential school meal application prior to the start of the school year. This ensures that there are no gaps in meal benefits for students who qualify for free or reduced price meals. This application also includes textbook assistance.

If your family has multiple students enrolled in the district, you only need to complete one application per household.

If your family qualifies, meal benefits will apply for the entire school year. Should your household financial circumstances change at any time, please be aware that applications can also be submitted throughout the year.

If your family receives other benefits such as SNAP or TANF, you may receive a notification that your student(s) is/are automatically eligible for free meals. In this case, you do not need to submit an application.
