The NCSC Technology Department is responsible for the maintenance and support of all things
technology-related at Hagerstown Elementary, Hagerstown Jr.-Sr. High School, the Nettle
Creek Administration Office, the NCSC Sports Complex, and the Hunt Transportation and
Maintenance Center.

The NCSC Tech Team upgrades, maintains, and repairs all student and staff devices, district
networking infrastructure, PowerSchool, and various systems throughout the district including
over 1,700 internet connected devices.

Having issues with a school device? Submit a ticket by sending an email to
support@nettlecreek.k12.in.us. Please be sure to include as much detail as possible about your
issue to help expedite the repair.

Troubleshooting/FAQs

Student iPad wifi issues

  1. Open Settings > WiFi > ensure you are connected to ncsc-student while within any
    school building
  2. Select the “i” in the circle to the right of the connected network (school or home)
  3. Find “Private Address” and Toggle OFF
  4. Rejoin the appropriate WiFi network

Problems loading certain website content

  1. Open Settings
  2. Find and tap on “Safari” within the left navigation menu
  3. On the right tap “Clear History and Cache”
  4. Ensure “Block Pop-ups” is also Toggled OFF
  5. Ensure “Block All Cookies” is also Toggled OFF

iPad lagging or slow to respond

  1. Complete a “hard reset” by pressing and holding the Home button and Power button
    at the same time until the iPad screen turns black
  2. Release both buttons and press the Power button again to power on the device
