2010 Inductee – Bob Weaver
Bob Weaver – Hagerstown Tigers class of 1963. Bob was a three sport athlete at Hagerstown and excelled in football, basketball and track. He was a key player for Joe Suminski’s Tiger football teams that went undefeated in 1961 and 1962. Bob was all-conference in the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference and in the Mississinewa Valley Conference for football in 1962 with 1,254 rushing yards and 93 points scored. He was an all-state honorable mention for football. In basketball, Bob set the individual scoring record of 34 points in a game during the 1961-62 season. Bob scored a total of 968 career points. He was named All-Conference during 1961-62 and 1962-63 seasons. In track, Bob was a standout in the mile relay, the broad jump, shot put and pole vault. He was an Indianapolis regional qualifier in the pole vault. Bob earned a division I football scholarship to Iowa. He is an Army veteran and is a retiree from the Perfect Circle Division of Dana Corporation.
