Girls Basketball

Few sports match basketball in the combination of skills it requires of its players—including hand-eye coordination, endurance, composure, and grit. At Hagerstown, our basketball program has a proud tradition of producing high-achieving student-athletes who demonstrate excellence both on and off the court.

Brad Catey is a lifelong Tiger who has been coaching at Hagerstown in some capacity since 2003. He has coached football, at all levels of basketball for boys and girls, and coached the Varsity Baseball team to 4 Sectional Championships and several county and conference championships in his ten years as head coach. 2024 is his first year at the helm of the Varsity Girls basketball team, where he has been an assistant for the past several years.  He is also a coach for the softball team.
