Vocational Last Day UPDATED—Mrs. Oliger has spoken with Mr. Lamb and the following is the plan for the last day at Vocational:

·      Seniors – your last day at Vocational is May 19.

·      Juniors – your last day at Vocational is May 24.

 

YOU MUST REPORT TO HHS INSTEAD OF GOING TO VOCATIONAL!

 

Library Materials—All materials checked out from the library are due this week. If you have not turned in materials that you have checked out, please do so. Individual reminders were sent out via e-mail last week. A listing of overdue materials will be shared with Tiger Time teachers to help get items returned.

 

 

Football Call Out Meeting—There will be a parent and player call out meeting on Monday, May 22 in the high school Cafeteria at 6:30 p.m., for those students who will be in grades 9 through 12 next fall, interested in playing football for the Tigers next season.   Summer schedules and activities will be discussed at the meeting.  Please plan to attend this important informational meeting.

 

 

Track Athletes—As your competitive season ends, please return uniforms to Coach Gray ASAP.  This should be done before school dismisses for the summer.

 

 

Spring Sports Program—The spring sports program for athletes and managers (grades 9 through 12) who are participating in girls tennis, boys golf, softball, track and baseball will be Wednesday, May 31st at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. All athletes and managers are expected to attend.

 

 

HELP Club—Attention HELP Club members, a new activity is available for us–Pack Away Hunger at the elementary school TODAY just after school. We are going to help with the set up. Also we are setting up the HELP Club roster for next year which includes all grades 7th-12th and send an email to michael.king@nettlecreek.k12.in.us or you can talk to him. He also has a website go to HELP-club.weeble (it may not be up or have all the material needed yet). New members are also welcome to help at Pack Away Hunger and you can also show up and find Michael King to sign up.

 

 

Sports Physicals—Any student who is currently in grades 7-11 who plans to participate in any school sport during the 2017-18 school year, must complete a new physical packet in its entirety. The entire packet must be completed, signed (by both student and parent/guardian) and on file in the athletic office at the high school before being allowed to practice, condition, participate in open gym or weight lifting.

 

Those students who have a current 2016-17 physical on file will be allowed to practice, condition, participate in open gym or weight lifting up until July 31st, 2017.  Beginning August 1, 2017, everyone participating must have the new, attached 2017-18 physical/packet on file before participating in any practice, conditioning, open gym or weight lifting.

 

Physicals for the 2017-18 school year must have taken place after April 1, 2017.  Physicals may be performed through your family doctor, walk in medical center, sports medicine facility, etc.
