Course Requests for 2018-2019—Schedules are due on Friday and you need to see Mrs. Oliger. DON’T forget to get the paper signed and the courses entered before going to her office. If you have questions, please come see Mrs. Oliger.
FCCLA—FCCLA members you will have a meeting, tomorrow, Thursday during tiger time in the foods lab to discuss upcoming events. Please plan to attend or see Mrs. Hobson.
VARSITY TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES
- ROSTER: Please contact Mr. Gray to have your name placed on the roster and establish a start date if you have not already done so.
- INDOOR TRACK: If you wish to participate in indoor track, you should begin practice now as long as you have had a week off from your winter sport. We are now meeting five days a week.
- OUTDOOR TRACK: You may begin any time, but official start date is Wednesday FEBRUARY 28.
- PHYSICALS: Be sure you have a physical form and all necessary paperwork on file before reporting for practice.
NHS—Any current junior or senior that has a cumulative GPA of a 9 or higher has the opportunity to apply for membership into National Honor Society. Applications are now available in Mrs. Van Meter’s room. With your application you must have two character references, only one can be a teacher the other must be someone not related to you who can tell us about you. Applications are due to Mrs. Van Meter no later than Friday, March 23 at 3:00pm. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Any questions feel free to ask.
Girls Tennis Call-Out—Any high school girl interested in playing tennis this spring. Come to cafeteria during Tiger Time Tuesday, February 13.

8th Grade Girls Basketball
On Tuesday night the Hagerstown 8th grade Lady Tigers defeated Connersville 40-7. Carli Cox led the way with 11. Tori Kelley had 9, Madelynn Ward 6, Marissa Slagle and Lauren Retherford 4 each, and Bethany Castle, Taylor Pass, and Shyanne Vinson 2 each.
8th Grade Girls Basketball—Correction
The Hagerstown 8th grade Lady Tigers knocked off the Centerville Bulldogs 42-9 on Monday night. Tori Kelley led the way with 16 points. Madelynn Ward had 11, Marissa Slagle 8, Carli Cox 4, Lauren Retherford 2, and Bethany Castle 1.
